Mesmer Design ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information you provide

The only personal information we collect is what you voluntarily submit through our contact form: your name, email address, and your message. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry.

We do not create user accounts, process payments, or collect any sensitive personal information.

2. Analytics

We use Simple Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Simple Analytics does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. All data is anonymous and aggregated. We can see overall traffic patterns but not information about individual visitors.

3. How we use your information

We use contact form submissions only to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Communicate with you about our services

We do not send marketing or promotional emails. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except where required by law.

4. Data retention

Messages in our own mailbox are retained for up to 90 days, then deleted. Our form processor (Web3Forms, see below) retains a copy according to its own policy until we delete it. We do not retain personal information longer than needed to respond to your inquiry.

5. Third-party services

We use two third-party services:

  • Simple Analytics - anonymous website analytics. No cookies are set and no personal data is collected. See their privacy policy.
  • Web3Forms - contact-form delivery. When you submit our contact form, your name, email address, message, and selected interests are transmitted to Web3Forms (a US-based processor) so the message can reach our inbox. See their privacy policy. If you would rather not use the form, email us directly instead.

Our website may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies directly.

6. Your rights

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Withdraw consent to our use of your information
