At Mesmer Design, we prioritize static websites whenever appropriate. These offer the best performance and are easier to estimate accurately. We always provide the most cost-effective way to achieve your vision without sacrificing quality.

We calculate our prices based on a $75/hour baseline. This covers initial design, planning, component development, and deployment. Our pricing structure is a direct reflection of the time and expertise invested in your project from start to finish.

Our estimates are fully transparent. We are always happy to break down exactly how we determined a quote, ensuring you know exactly what you are paying for.

We require a 50% deposit at the start of the project. The remaining balance is due within 30 days of completion.

We understand this is a significant investment. If you need a specific payment schedule to help with budgeting, we are happy to discuss options that suit your business. We currently accept payments through Square Invoices (Credit/Debit) or via e-transfer.

While every new site requires a minimum baseline of setup and development work, we will never compromise on quality. Your website will be fully functional, secure, and built to the same high standards as any other project we deliver.

Many agencies rely on WordPress or "no-code" builders for quick deployment. While this is fast for the agency, it often leaves the client with slow load times, security vulnerabilities, and high monthly maintenance fees.

We use a technology-first approach. By leveraging modern static site generators, we build websites that are faster and more secure. This also saves our clients money: instead of paying $50+ per month for specialized WordPress hosting, most of our clients pay only for their domain name (approx. $10-20/year).

We use tools called Static Site Generators (SSGs). They allow us to build high-performance websites that load almost instantly and are incredibly secure.

Astro: For static-only, world-class performance while still enabling common dynamic features.

Next.js: For applications that are very dynamic.

We recommend you register your own domain to ensure you retain 100% legal ownership. We suggest using registrars like Porkbun, Cloudflare, or Namecheap.

You do. Once the final invoice is settled, you own the code we wrote for you. You also retain ownership of any images or assets you provided.

We can set up a Content Management System (CMS) that allows you to edit text and images without touching a single line of code, and provide you transparent pricing based on the amount of content you need to manage. We also provide training and documentation to ensure you feel confident managing your site after launch.
